Setting Up Proxy for Globe s40 Mobile Phones

From your Mobile Phone Menu, Press;

 

            Menu > Settings > Configurations > Personal Configuration Settings > Add New

 

Add New WEB Settings

 

            Account Name: (Anything You Want!)

            Home Page: (Proxy Book Mark: Mostly starts with  http://twitter.myglobe.com.ph)

            Username: *(It’s up to you!)

            Password: *(It’s up to you!)

            Use Preferred Access Point: No

 

Click Access Point

 

            On Proxy choose Enable

                        Proxy Address: (Proxy IP address or URL, domain name)

                        Proxy Port: (Depends on Proxy Port, Commonly 80 or 8080)

                        Data Bearer: GPRS

 

Click Bearer Settings

 

            GPRS Access Point: http.globe.com.ph

            Network Type: IPv4

            Authentication: Normal

            Username: *(It’s up to you!)

            Password: *(It’s up to you!)

 

Now Click Three Backs until you reach the Personal Accounts

 

            Click Option and Activate your New Created Account Name (which in my example is Anything You Want!)

 

Click Option again and then select Add New > Access Point

 

            Access Point Name: (Anything You Want Again!)

 

Click Access Point Settings

 

            Data Bearer: GPRS

 

Click Bearer Settings

 

            GPRS Access Point/Packet Data Access: http.globe.com.ph

            Network Type: IPv4

            Authentication: Normal

            Username: *(It’s up to you!)

            Password: *(It’s up to you!)

 

And then Click Three Backs again until you reach the Personal Accounts                   

 

Click Option again and then Activate your New Created Access Point (which in my example is Anything You Want Again!)

 

Go to Main Menu and from there go to

 

            Menu > Settings > Configuration > Default Configuration Settings:

                        Choose Personal Configuration and then Click Option and Set as Default

                        Scroll down and Select Activate Default in all Application and then click Yes

                        Scroll down again to select Preferred Access Point

                        Select the New Created Access Point (which in my example is Anything You Want Again!)

 

Go to Main Menu again

 

            Click Menu > Web > Clear Cache > and them Click Home!
